A record field of 52 turned out for a very exciting and fast race which was won by Deal tri's young Phil Anthony, with Adrian Elliott (one of last years winners) second and Multisports' Simon Truett third.
The ladies race was the closest so far, with Bernadette Henry of Greenwich Tritons holding off the previous two years series winner Ali Bell (Asics Multisport) by 4 seconds. White Oak's John Setford came home 12th as first vet and Paul Williams in at 14th as first super vet.
