Arundel Aquathlon

Some of the regions hardiest triathletes took part in a 500m swim/5k run Aquathlon at The Arundel Lido on New Years Day. First out of the water was Nick Finch from Horsham, closely followed by Littlehampton’s Lee Cullen and Worthing’s Pete Wallis. Out onto the run, these three were being chased down by Brighton’s Bob Novis and Horsham’s Gary Pearce. A close finish saw Novis hold on by 6 seconds from Pearce. The first female was Kirsten King from Horsham. The pool is set to stage its first major triathlon during this years Arundel Festival.
