Several centres exist within the UK that can perform specific sports testing; VO2 max, lactate threshold, etc. Most of these are tied to Universities and operate mainly as centres for student research. There are some more specialised centres such as the National Sports Medicine Institute which can offer a "walk-in" testing service -- for a price.
The following list is not exhaustive and we will add centres to it as and when we find out about them.
